The Start of a New Era - MT's Plan to Go Above and Beyond in 2023

The establishment of MTutoring began with the vision of Matias Urcuyo, a current undergraduate at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His legacy and vision is being carried forward by Tobias Urcuyo, his younger brother, who plans to bring MTutoring to new limits by putting together a brand new generation of tutors and leaders that can bolster MTutoring and improve upon Matias's legacy.

"The current plan for 2023 is simple. Carry forward the platform Matias has fostered during his time at MTutoring, and scale it by delegating tasks to bright and motivated tutors that aspire to make a change in the community. The brilliant vision of Matias can only improve through a scaling process that can only succeed with excellent leadership from the Executive Team at MT" (Tobias Urcuyo, CEO).

Among the many impressive individuals Tobias has brought together to reach new limits in 2023 is Rafael Calderon. Rafael Calderon has been particularly impactful because of his innate skill to delegate tasks and be a leader, while at the same time setting an example by helping students directly. "He's not afraid to get his hands dirty. He reminds me a lot of me and my brother. We love to lead and optimize systems, while at the same time set examples for individuals to follow. People can only respect you when you learn to respect them. This is why I plan to promote Rafael to CEO after my time at MT. I am certain he will enhance the learning process at MTutors because of his aspiration to use academic skills to solve real world problems" (Tobias Urcuyo, CEO).

Another individual who Tobias believes will garner success in 2023 is Sebastian Martinez, an aspiring Astrophysicist. "Just like physics uses mathematics to solve multiplex problems, I believe MT can use bright-minded individuals to face the obstacles a non-profit comes up against on a daily bases" (Sebastian Martinez COO). Tobias believes in Sebastian because his passion for STEM influences everyone here at MT. Whenever a tutor gets stuck on a problem they need to explain to a student, Sebastian saves the day and enhances the learning process for students. His profound knowledge in critical areas of tutoring should not be taken lightly, for without him, MT would be a very different place.

A quick glance at MT demonstrates its continuity in improving the learning process for myriad students. But behind the tutoring sessions is Tobias's astute leadership and understanding for what Matias had always dreamed of, fostering the start of a fresh era for MT that will reach new heights.
